Dane's Story

How’s everybody doing? This is Dane Chavez just letting you know where I'm coming from. I got my start in San Angelo, Texas which is in the Concho Valley, a region of West Texas. Yes, the same place where Los Lonely Boy's are from and a lot of other great musicians, a good place for Tex-Mex food and known for its outdoor wilderness and A.S.U. Collage.

I started playing guitar at age 13, and I remember starting out by learning the HonkeyTonk Blues. As time went on, I enjoyed learning classic rock music from artists like Led Zeppelin, ZZ-Top, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Van Hallen, and Jimmy Hendricks. While music is my passion, I also enjoy writing songs. I began writing some between 15 and 16 years of age and its just part of my life and this is the first  source where you will hear my music now theirs more to it than just me I want this site to  become a good source for happening TX Music and will be inviting other singer-songwriters and bands to be a part of Dane Music and something good and new, go to contact info to sign up.

At this time, I'm in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area gigging with the BluesAdelics, a Blues/Rock band, and enjoy playing some open mic's as Dane Chavez and sometimes bringing along musicians who play the violin and harmonica.
